Spanish Club is an after school program that teaches the Spanish language to students in Pre-Kindergarten through grade 5. ¡Bienvenidos! Welcome!

With Spanish Club, students learn Spanish through a play-based methodology. The relaxed and fun environment helps students acquire a new language in an easy and natural way using games, songs and stories.

Spanish Club can serve as a replacement for Spanish classes offered through your child’s school. Students will engage in both individual and collective activities focused on learning the principles of the Spanish language, as well as conversational skills. Spanish Club meets twice a week for semester-long sessions.

Benefits of Language Studies

Students who study a foreign language see a wide range of related benefits.

  • Higher cognitive performance in overall basic skills in elementary school

  • Develop native-like pronunciation
  • Perform strongly in school and on standardized tests
  • Gain an appreciation for other cultures

Outside of English, Spanish is the most common language spoken in Texas and throughout the United States and the rest of the world. It’s a natural choice for your child to learn and can open the door to new opportunities in their professional path.
