The National College Readiness Institute (NCRI) is a 501c3 nonprofit organization working to close the achievement gap for students in the Greater Houston area.
Our Mission
Since our founding in 2016, we’ve worked to close the achievement gap for underprivileged youth through quality afterschool programs. We integrate adversity in evidence-based initiatives that instill students with a global mindset and the essential skills and resources to succeed in their future college and career endeavors.
Our Impact
Our five programs, including the STEAM Discovery Academy and College Readiness Program, prepare students of all backgrounds from grades Pre-K through 12 for a bright future in their chosen college or career endeavors. Students leave our after school and summer programs with a new understanding of the world and what they’re capable of accomplishing.

Partnerships
We partner with a variety of schools, nonprofits and other organizations to make it all happen. We’re always open to new partnerships aimed at improving our programs or opening them up to new students. You can also check out openings to partner with us through career and internship opportunities.
